# apache-commons-validator-python
This is a Python translation of the Apache Commons Validator, which provides libraries for client-side validation and server-side data validation.

### Package Installation

Make sure to be an environment with Python 3.12.

`pip install apache-commons-validator-python`

### Local Installation

Clone the repository locally.

`git clone https://github.coecis.cornell.edu/sn523/apache-commons-validator-python.git`

Change current working directory.

`cd apache-commons-validator-python`

Create and activate a conda environment with python 3.12 specifically.

`conda create -n <my_env> python=3.12`

`conda activate <my_env>`

Install the requirements.

`pip install -r requirements.txt`
